A little about me

Born and raised in south Florida, my first experience with physical therapy was receiving care after a knee surgery. I loved my time there and knew that I wanted my career to be focused on helping people. I attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison and graduated with a rehabilitation psychology degree. I went on to receive my doctoral degree in physical therapy at Clarke University in Dubuque, IA. During that time, I had the opportunity to take pelvic health coursework in school and was confident that it was my calling. After spending some time in general orthopedics, I focused my training on women’s and pelvic health and in 2018, passed the board certification exam. Since then, I have exclusively treated this patient population as well as helped to develop a residency program and acted as a primary mentor for other pelvic health physical therapists in Tucson, Arizona. I absolutely love this patient population and can’t wait to serve Durango and the surrounding areas with my expertise.

When I’m not treating patients, you can find me rock climbing, hiking, biking, playing by the river, and fully embracing the Durango lifestyle with my husband and two kids.
